Two-Day Workshop on Indian Constitution & the Art of Advocacy

Xavier Law School (XLS), XIM University, Bhubaneswar organized a Two-Day Workshop on “Indian Constitution & the Art of Advocacy” on 24–25 July 2026.

The workshop was conducted by Sr. Adv. L. Ravichander, Designated Senior Advocate, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, an eminent constitutional lawyer and one of the most distinguished members of the legal fraternity, with extensive experience in constitutional, civil, and commercial litigation.

The workshop sought to bridge the gap between legal theory and courtroom practice by offering valuable insights into:

Constitutional philosophy and the enduring vision of the Constitution of India
Fundamental Rights and constitutional governance
The art and ethics of courtroom advocacy
Professional conduct and responsibilities of advocates
Structure and functioning of the Indian judicial system
Courts, tribunals, and the administration of justice
Introduction to major branches of law and emerging opportunities in the legal profession

The workshop provided participants with a unique opportunity to engage with an eminent Senior Advocate, gain practical exposure to the legal profession, and deepen their understanding of constitutional values and advocacy skills.
