SATYAGRAHA V. STATE POWER
Parliamentary Debate Competition
The event was envisioned as a platform for students to engage in meaningful intellectual discourse, examine complex questions of law, society, governance, and individual rights, and articulate their perspectives through structured parliamentary debate. Inspired by the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of Satyagraha, the competition sought to encourage thoughtful dialogue, critical reasoning, and respectful disagreement.
Xavier Law School, XIM University, organised Satyagraha v. State Power, a Parliamentary Debate Competition on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 2026.
